Munoz Family

I remember the first time I met Danielle. It was at one of Aaron's work parties and I was feeling nervous and didn't know anyone. When I was introduced to her and we started to talk, she immediately put me at ease. She exudes warmth and kindness. When she called me to ask me to photograph her family, I was very excited to have the opportunity, and so happy to finally get to meet her family. Her family was just as sweet and warm as she is. I instantly loved them all. They are the kind of people I love to be around.

Multi - Opening Frame

I love frames with big chunky moulding... and this one is awesome! I am so in love with it. I just sit and look at it all the time here in my home! This is a frame I am offering to my clients now. So, if you want to order one, just let me know. It's got 6 inch wide moulding on each side. The picture openings are 8x8. You can order it with 2 or 3 picture openings. It also comes in white and brown paint colors too. The edges are distressed. It's just darling.

My new logo.

Do you like my new logo? I'm excited about the new look. I've been making lots of changes to my blog and website, (they are still a work in progress), but I wanted to share what I have so far. And since a post isn't a post without pictures... here's a few I took last week of Easton.

Us.

For Christmas I got a remote for my camera. With the remote, I can set the camera up on the tripod and take pictures of all of us together without running back and forth using the self timer. The remote triggers the shutter button instantly. It's so awesome! And with the gift of the remote, my family said that they would go out on a photo shoot with me. Wow, do they know what I love or what? So, on New Years Day we set out to do a family shoot at a fun modern location. I was really excited, and I had all these ideas in my head of shots I wanted to try to get of us. It did not go as planned. It was chaos. Me trying to be in some of the pictures took it to a whole new level of crazy. Easton was a handful... a true 3 year old who had made up his mind he didn't want anything to do with it. The remote worked great. But it was more time consuming than we had expected to set up the tripod for shots- so we were short on time. We used the remote and tripod for all the family shots. Then Aaron, Dallon and I took turns being the photographer to get the rest of the shots. I don't think we got even one of the shots I had planned to get. But, we did get shots I love. That is just how it goes sometimes. So, here are the new pictures of us. Taken on the first day of the new year.
